Potential (ODP).\r\nIn general, Republic of Moldova do not produce 
            
16
ODS. The consumption is based only on importing of this substances.

\r\nTable 1 shows that consumption of  CFCs (Annex A, Group I) has 
            
18
stopped starting with 2008, when the import of this substances has 
            
19
been interdicted (see Table 1).\r\nIn the observed period (1995-2013) 
            
20
Republic of Moldova did not import, produced and consumed Halons 
            
21
(Annex A, Group II), Other fully halogenated CFCs (Annex B, Group I), 
            
22
Carbon tetrachloride (Annex B, Group II), 1,1,1-trichloroethane 
            
23
(Methyl chloroform) (Annex B, Group III). \r\nFrom all categories of 
            
24
HCFCs (Annex C, Group I) Republic of Moldova imports and consume only 
            
25
HCFC-22. Table 2 shows that consumption of this substances started in 
            
26
2004 (see Table 2). The highest consumption was registered in  2008 
            
27
with 2,8215 ODP Tons. After this year the consumption goes down (see 
            
28
Figure 1).  \r\nThe consumption of Methyl bromide (Annex E, Group I) 
            
29
has been registred only for 1995 (see Table 3)\r\nTable 4 presents the 
            
30
total consumption of ODP tones for the period 1990-2013.\r\nThe 
            
31
national actions for ozone layer protection during the observed period 
            
32
(1990-2013) has resulted in elimination of almost 99% of the total 
            
33
consumption of ODS (see Figure 2). \r\nConsidering the extent of ODSs 
            
34
elimination in the Republic of Moldova, it may be concluded that the 
            
35
percentage of almos 99% of ODSs phased-out in the observed 
            
36
period.\r\n\r\nOzon Convention metodology for calculation of 
            
37
consumption of the ODS is used. The value presented has been obtained 
            
38
by multiplying the value of the consumed quantity expressed in metric 
            
39
tons by the Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). \r\n\r\n \r\n",
